Twister Submission from Back Control

The Twister Submission is a Neck and Spinal Crank that was most recently made famous by “The Korean Zombie” and formerly by Eddie “Twister” Bravo.  The Twister comes from what is known as a “Guillotine” pinning combination in Folkstyle Wrestling.  Wrestling is known for it’s brutal and painful pinning combinations.  In Amateur Wrestling, there is no such thing as “tapping out”.  In many Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitions this submission has been deemed illegal, though still allowed in mma, wrestling competition, and some submission style tournaments.  Here, Brian Ruscio demonstrates one of many ways to achieve the twister.
